The aim of the Baden-Württemberg Water Research Network is the cross-locational and interdisciplinary networking of the diverse activities of water research in the state. The Baden-Württemberg Ministry of Science, Research and the Arts is supporting the network with an innovative research and structural programme: As a central component, three interdisciplinary research networks are being funded, each of which involves several Baden-Württemberg universities. In addition, funding is provided for workshops and events in order to develop long-term perspectives in water research.
